Car fire was ‘deliberate’

Firefighters were called to a road in Great Cornard after a car was set alight.

One crew from Sudbury attended the blaze on Sheepshead Hill at 7.30pm on Tuesday.

It is believed the fire, which was put out by 8pm, was an arson attack.

A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said: “The car fire was deliberate and police were informed.”

Anyone with information should call police on 101.
