A FAMILY who lost their son to cancer when he was 31 are holding their third annual garden party to raise money for charity this weekend.

Sue and Rod Baxter, of Claypits Avenue in Bures, are opening their garden to visitors between 2pm and 5pm on Saturday, August 4, in support of St Nicholas Hospice Care in Bury St Edmunds, where their son Mark was cared for before his death in October, 2009.

The party has raised more than £1,000 for the hospice in its two previous years.
