SUPPORT for a campaign to boost broadband speeds in Suffolk has surged.
In the last week, more than 1,000 households have completed an online survey run by Suffolk County Council to demonstrate a need for a faster service in the county.
In total, nearly 2,500 families have now shown their support for the Better Broadband for Suffolk campaign, along with around 1,000 businesses, but those behind the push are encouraging others to complete the survey.
Mark Bee, chairman of the campaign and leader of the county council, said: “The response we have had has been great, but it’s really important that we continue the pace of the campaign.
“We absolutely must demonstrate to ministers and potential suppliers that people in Suffolk need and want better broadband and that our county is an attractive place to invest in.”
