Coffee and cakes will help swell the funds of a charity which looks after people with terminal illnesses.

Residents in Newton Green are holding a coffee morning at the village hall on Saturday, November 23, from 10am to noon, to raise money for St Nicholas Hospice Care.

There will be a range of stalls, including bring-and-buy as well as those selling Christmas cakes and puddings, savoury and sweet pies and chutneys.

Jordan Hughes a hospice fundraiser, said: “The funds raised at this coffee morning will help to support local people living with life-shortening illnesses and their loved ones.”
