The second business chosen as a finalist in the Local Business Accelerator awards is Hadleigh-based photographer Katie Drouet.
The nationwide campaign, launched in October by local newspapers across the country and backed by Prime Minister David Cameron and Dragon’s Den judge Deborah Meaden, will see 1,500 firms receive £15million of free advertising to help boost their business in 2012.
Katie, pictured, has been running her photography business for a year and has seven years experience in the industry.
The core of her business is wedding and portrait photography, although she does commercial shoots too.
Katie said: “I drive my business forward with excellent customer service and a passion to deliver the very best each and every time, whatever the project may be.
“Photography is my love and I think that comes across in my work.
“There is nothing I enjoy more than taking photos and making people happy with them.
“I think I offer a great experience that my clients enjoy and tell others about, as well as beautiful photos to treasure forever.”

Katie’s business will battle it out with SmartBedz of Woodbridge and Pentlow firm Bowers Beef for the local title.
Jane Vincent, chief executive of WS Training and chairman of Suffolk enterprise agency Menta, and Andrew Denny, chairman of Bury St Edmunds Chamber of Commerce, will head the judging panel to decide the winner.
