Getting food in a hurry in Sudbury just got easier after The Honey B cafe launched a text ordering service.

Run by Alex Driscoll and his mother, Angela, the cafe in Gaol Lane is giving customers the option to have lunch delivered to their door simply by sending a text message.

“It is mainly aimed at businesses and it is something that makes people’s lives easier,” said Mr Driscoll, from Sudbury.

“We wanted to provide a service that no-one else in Sudbury is offering.”

The 23-year-old took over the cafe in July, and has also introduced a new breakfast menu.

“It’s going really well and we are now doing breakfast on a Saturday, which has been really busy,” said Mr Driscoll.

“When we took over, we kept the format the same because the cafe is such a valuable resource for mothers and babies.”

Mr Driscoll, who has worked in hospitality for five years, said the cafe was going from “strength to strength.”
