ALDI supermarket has applied for planning permission to increase the number of deliveries to its Sudbury store.
The Girling Street business has submitted plans to Babergh District Council to increase the hours it can have deliveries during the week. It also wants permission for deliveries on Sundays and bank holidays.
A noise survey was carried out over five days in January by the company and it concluded there were no adverse noise issues affecting residents.
A company spokesman said: “We were recently granted permission to extend the opening hours of the store but need to extend the delivery hours to ensure fresh produce is available to customers.”
