Signs informing people they are entering Sudbury are to be replaced.
The red coloured signs – dotted around the town’s entry points – have been in place for around 10 years.
Sudbury town councillor Lesley Ford-Platt has been given the go-ahead by the county council to put in new signs, which will also be red in colour and will promote the town’s markets and transition group.
“They will be done as soon as we have the money,” she said.
The six new signs will cost £3,500, but the town council still needs to find £2,000 to pay for them.
