A mobility specialist in Sudbury has opened a redesigned showroom.

Family-run company TGA, which is based on Woodhall Business Park, has invested substantial funds to enhance the layout of its showroom in order to make it easier for customers to look around.

The firm, which stocks mobility scooters, wheelchairs and stairlifts, is also able to offer a larger specialist product range.

“The new-look showroom has been in development for several months and the end result is outstanding – it will really help our customers gain more from each visit,” said managing director Daniel Stone.

“Displaying products in the most ergonomic and logical way is, of course, important. However, we have focused the showroom around our assessors, as we believe talking to them is the most important part of the purchase process.”

Also within the new layout is a bathroom mock-up to help customers visualise a TGA bath lift in-situ and in operation. This includes a selection of safety aids so visitors can see how easy bathing could be at home.

“Our new showroom is such a calming, pleasant space,” said Mr Stone. “I am confident every person who comes through the door will be able to enjoy a refreshing trip and leave with new-found independence.”
