A SHOP in Clare welcomed customers into its new surroundings at the weekend after moving to larger premises.
Blue Dog, which sells accessories, hardware, gifts and cards, and has been trading in the town since 2007, opened the doors to its new outlet on Saturday.
Fortunately, customers did not have far to look as the retailer had only moved into its neighbouring High Street shop.
Owner Sarah Barrington said: “We have been here for more than three years and, although we loved our little shop, we had simply outgrown it.
“When the gallery next door became available after the owner decided to retire, it was the perfect time and place to expand.”
The extra space means the shop can stock a wider range of products, while giving customers more room to manoeuvre.
“The new shop has a lovely feel,” said Sarah.
“Clare is a great little town and is rapidly becoming a popular shopping destination for people who want to shop in attractive and friendly surroundings and support their local economy.
“We have built a loyal following of regular customers and, judging by their feedback, they are as excited about the move as we are.”
