Boxford homes plan submitted

TWENTY-ONE new homes could be built in Boxford under plans being considered by councillors.

Outline planning permission is being sought by developer David Keely, of Thorpe Road, Preston St Mary, to build on land south of Daking Avenue and west of Swan Street.

The application includes a new access road and off-street parking in Swan Street.

Plans for a mixture of housing were submitted to the council in May and were amended last month.

They are due to go before a development committee at Babergh District Council in the near future.

A total of 15 local groups and authorities, including Boxford and Edwardstone parish councils and the Suffolk Wildlife Trust, have been consulted about the proposal, as well as 38 neighbouring properties in Daking Avenue and Swan Street.
