Runners are being encouraged to sign up to complete 10km on 10 consecutive days to help buy lifesaving equipment for a hospital.

Sudbury’s Kingfisher Leisure Centre has joined the campaign, which needs to raise £55,000 for a prostate cancer scanner at West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds. People can run or walk the distance, about six miles, on a route of their choice between December 4 and 14. Call 01284 712952.
