A BOXFORD band are hoping their first album will be a platform for success.
This Boy Wonders, who have been together for three years, celebrated the release of their self-titled debut with a launch party at The White Hart.
The four-piece, consisting of lead singer and guitarist Chris Athorne, rhythm guitarist Lee Wilkins, bassist Nikk Butcher and drummer Mark Willis, are proud of their first effort.
“Recording the album was brilliant,” said Mr Willis. “Having more time to spend on each track was a real luxury. We had a great time.
“We’re really pleased with it.”
The 10-track album, recorded at Monkey Puzzle House studio in Woolpit, will be sold in local music shops, on www.thisboywonders.co.uk and on iTunes.
The band are looking to get signed by a record company in the new year.
