The Sudbury Festival of Performing Arts received crucial financial backing this week.

Holmes and Hills solicitors has agreed to be the festival’s main sponsor for the next three years, while Suffolk county councillor John Sayers also donated money from his Quality of Life budget to fund the festival programme.

Festival committee chairman Jan Osborne said: “This money is badly needed as the festival is completely reliant on sponsorship and fundraising.”
