Between May 13-28 Sudbury will come alive with art as a prelude to the Suffolk Open Studios in June.

Local businesses Winch and Blatch, The Angel Wine Bar and The Art and Framing Centre have given artists living in and around Sudbury the opportunity to display their work as a prelude to the Suffolk Open Studios.

The Sudbury Art Trail weekend takes place on June 4-5, when ten artists will open their studios.

Flyers with details of all the artists taking part will be available at Gainsborough’s House, Sudbury Library and the Quay Theatre.

On Saturday, May 28, the artists will be at Sudbury market.

Judith Glover, one of the artists involved, said: “We invite you to visit our studios and find out what inspires us, chat about our work and see where we create our art.”

“Sudbury is a great place for creatives to live. We are thrilled to be so warmly supported by the community.”
