The winner of an art competition got to see a version of her design go on show at the soon-to-be-opened Sudbury Community Health Centre.

Naomi McIlroy was announced as the competition winner in March for her entry Meadow Walk, scooping the first prize of £5,000.

The 35-year-old, from Cavendish Road in Clare, said she was very pleased with the piece, but admitted it was much larger than she expected.

She added she was surprised at how complete the building looked and said her artwork and the other pieces complemented the design of the building.

Visitors will have the chance to look at the pieces at the centre’s open day on Saturday.
