A PETROL station in Sudbury was closed for more than an hour after a man was involved in an accident with a car.
Emergency services were called to the Gainsborough Services just off the roundabout on Northern Road at around 8.15am on Tuesday morning, after an elderly man was in a collision with a car on the forecourt.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Police said the elderly man was treated for a knee injury at the scene by paramedics before being taken to West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds. His injuries were not believed to be serious.
The petrol station reopened at around 9.30am.
