Ethan Head, seven, had his dreams come true when he wrote to Sudbury’s Purina factory asking them to help him in his quest to tidy up the town.
The firm has given the seven-year-old, from The Hawthorns, Sudbury, his own litter cart after he told them how he has to carry all the litter he finds back to the collection point at Tesco when he and his mum take part in the monthly Sudbury Town Council litter pick.
The company said it was pleased to help out and staff invited him and his mum Laura to the factory recently to pick up his shiny new litter cart.
Factory manager Kevin Shrimpton said: “We were delighted to be able to donate a cart to Ethan to help him with his litter picking around the town.
“He’s a real inspiration and it was a real pleasure to meet him and welcome him to the factory. Keep up the good work. Ethan.”
