‘A dream come true’

MEMBERS of a Sudbury rock band are celebrating after being signed by a US record label.

Just two and a half years after forming, Never A Hero, a four-piece renowned for wearing masks while they perform, have signed a deal with Florida record label Cinderella Records.

“Although it may sound cliché, it is a dream come true,” said drummer Daisy Lai.

The deal will see the band’s first EP Socially Awkward re-released globally and their music videos given worldwide distribution.

The offer came as the band were carrying out auditions for a new singer, who has just helped the rockers play one of their most important shows to date – opening for Wolfsbane.

Bass player KB said he was happy with how the band was progressing.
