A teacher was thrown out of Sudbury Upper School after stripping off his shirt in front of a class.
The middle-aged English teacher was filmed taking off his shirt by students using a mobile phone.
He was ordered off the premises by headteacher David Forrest as footage of his antics circulated round the school.
A mobile phone video of the bearded teacher later finished up on the internet site You Tube.
A Suffolk County Council education spokesman said the man would not be teaching in Suffolk schools again.
The incident happened in front of a class of 13- and 14-year-olds.
Neither headteacher Mr Forrest nor education officials would confirm the name of the supply teacher involved, who was employed through a Hertfordshire-based agency.
A county council spokesman said: "As soon as the headteacher was made aware of the incident the supply teacher in question was asked to leave the school premises immediately.
"The matter was also reported immediately to the supply agency who employed him."
The spokesman confirmed the individual was no longer on the list of supply teachers available through the placement service regularly used by Suffolk County Council.
"In this instance, the individual was not contracted through that agency, he was contracted through an agency that had no connection with Suffolk County Council," he said.
Mr Forrest said the teacher was not one who had been regularly used by the upper school, which booked supply staff through a wide variety of agencies.
He said he had seen the video of the topless incident, soon after it happened two months ago and before it appeared on You Tube.
But he said he would not confirm the name of the teacher involved because disciplinary matters were private between the school, the man concerned and his employer.

I think it is realy sad how we are prepaired always to report on the negative things and so dismisive and neglectful of all the good. Sudbury Upper is a Fantastic School and any difficult periods that it may be experiencing should spur the community and society to see how they can help. Those who are so quick to judge - do not seem so quick or willing to help.

How Sudbury Upper can be classed as fantastic is beyond me. Surely the recent Ofsted report highlights this. I have had 3 children attend Sudbury upper and one is still there frequently being taught by supply teachers .Which offers no continuity in the following of the curriculum. In my opinion teaching levels at Sudbury Upper are in decline and something needs to be done sooner rather than later

The recent ofsted reports highlights the struggles that teachers are having. It also highlights that we need to be addressing pro-active ways to deal with childrens behvaiour rather than outcasting them and implementing a trend. This is precisly the time when the community should be supporting the school and seeing how they can be of help so that chnages occur and in the long term will decrease the need for supply teachers at such high levels. We are all so qucik to moan but never prepaired to act.

The struggles the teachers are having are down to to poor leadership. Sudbury Upper needs to get its act together. Yes a pro active approach needs to be taken and support from parents is essential, but before this can happen the school needs to see its weak points. Also ex pupil if Sudbury Upper is so fantastic why is your spelling so poor.?
