STAR attraction at St Andrew's Primary School, Wormingford, was popular TV actor Shaun Williamson, who cut the ribbon to officially open two new purpose-built classrooms at Essex's smallest school.
Shaun, formerly of East Enders and Extras, was appearing at Colchester's Mercury Theatre in a stage adaptation of the TV hit Porridge and was spotted in the brochure by Wormingford pupil George Dobson.

George could hardly believe the star from his favourite CBBC children's programme Scoop was a real person who acted on the stage and Shaun was invited along as guest of honour.

See this week's Suffolk Free Press for the full story.
