A ROCK band manager has been warned that he may be sent to prison after admitting being at the wheel of a car which struck a Hadleigh man in a hit-and-run accident.
Andrew Boyd, 42, appeared at Ipswich Crown Court on Friday when he pleaded guilty to charges of dangerous driving, failing to stop after an accident and driving without a licence or insurance.
He had been arrested on October 12 – a fortnight after Chris Corder, 43, of Benton Street, Hadleigh, had suffered severe injuries which left him in a critical condition.
Mr Corder had been delivering church magazines for his elderly mother when he was struck by a Daimler car Boyd was driving as he crossed the B1070 at Hadleigh on September 27.
