Pete Doherty due in court

TROUBLED rocker Pete Doherty has been summoned to court over a traffic charge in connection with the hit-and-run collision that left Hadleigh man Chris Corder needing a tube to be fed.
The singer, who is fighting an addiction to class A drugs, will answer a charge of permitting the use of a vehicle without insurance.
His summonse is related to a traffic collision that occurred in Benton Street, Hadleigh, on September 27, last year.
It resulted in 43-year-old Mr Corder sustaining serious injuries – more than four months on he remains in a critical condition in the Royal London Hospital.
The 30-year-old from Wiltshire's case will be heard at Lowestoft Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, February 24.
Andrew Boyd, 42, who managed the singer's band Babyshambles, is due before Ipswich Crown Court, on February 24, for sentecing after earlier pleading guilty to a series of driving charges in connection with the collision.
Mr Doherty, the former boyfriend of supermodel Kate Moss, is not bound by law to attend the hearing at Lowestoft Magistrates' Court.
