Traffic ground to a halt following a collision in Bures Road at 7.45am on Thursday.
Police and ambulance crews rushed to the scene, near Church Road.

One woman was taken to West Suffolk Hospital with whiplash.

Two moving cars and two parked cars were involved.

A police spokeswoman said: "It caused a lot of traffic problams due to the time and the narrowness of the road. We did not reopen the road until 8.40am."

  • Traffic in Northern Road, Sudbury, was disrupted after a collision outside Turner Tool Hire at about 5pm the same day.
