MUSIC on the Green will be rocking and rolling once again in Long Melford on Saturday following the cancellation of the last event when organisers failed to get a licence.
This time there will be no mistakes as Swimming with Sharks take to the stage to entertain the crowds on the top green in Long Melford..

The show runs from 7pm to 10pm with a beer tent and food stalls on hand to keep revellers refreshed.

Music lovers were left disappointed hours before the last concert on June 20 when Long Melford Parish Council forgot to get an alcohol licence for the event.

Linda Goodban, parish clerk, said: “We have definitely got a licence for Saturday and everything is going ahead.

“It should be a great evening and we are all really looking forward to it.”

Steve Cherelle, who was due to play at the cancelled concert, has agreed to perform on Sunday, August 1 from 2.30pm to 5.30pm

The Long Melford Silver Band will be playing at the next Music on the Green event on Sunday, July 26, from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
