Glorious sunshine meant this year's teddy bears' boat ride on the River Stour was one of the most successful.
Last year organisers were frustrated by a downpour which left the event a near wash-out. But a sunny Monday saw children flock to the river for a trip with their teddy bears by their side.

Catherine Burroughs, of organisers the River Stour Trust said: "It was a fantastic day, we had so many people come down to the river. Children were not just bringing one teddy bear but three or four because they didn't want to leave any behind.

"A lot of the children had never been on the river so it was a whole new experience and I think they all enjoyed it. There were certainly lots of smiley faces! Last year's event was affected by the weather so there were sighs of relief when everyone woke up and saw the sunshine."
