Glemsford Club B were knocked off the top of the Glemsford and District Cribbage League and dropped to third after a 9-6 defeat at the Melford Working Men’s Club A.

The Melford Club’s B team are yet to lose a match though and went top following a 9-6 win at the Glemsford Angel.

The only other team with an unbeaten record is Clare Ex-Service Club, who had a narrow 8-7 victory at near neighbours Clare Bell.

The Bell are one of the three teams at the bottom yet to score a point.

Below them are the Melford Hare, who lost a close 8-7 match at home to Stoke-by-Clare Lion.

Glemsford Cock B went to the bottom as they had their home match against Glemsford Cherry Tree postponed.

The Stoke Lions victory moved them up into fifth, with Melford British Legion one place above after a 9-6 win over the Cavendish Bull.

Glemsford Social Club A recorded their first win against Glemsford Cock A.
