Lots of energy and a splash of colour were on display at Hadleigh Primary School as seven Maasai warriors paid a visit.
The Osiligi Troupe from Kenya arrived at the school on Friday and entertained pupils from the age of six to 11 with tribal songs and dancing.
Youngsters in Year 2, who have been studying the life of the warriors, also got the chance to join in.
“It was a fantastic experience for the children,” said Leah Bewsher, who teaches maths and English.
“Days like this help bring the children’s learning to life and we are really pleased with how it went.”
Osiligi is the Maasai word for hope. The troupe performs around the country to raise money for their families.
Donations go towards improving water supplies and housing in the village of Kisamis, near Nairobi.
