SEA Scouts will push the fundraising boat out with the help of some four-legged friends on Saturday.

They have organised a fun dog show to collar more cash towards an £8,000 new sailing dinghy.

The event – run by the 3rd Sudbury Sea Scouts – takes place from 10am to 4pm on Friars Meadow, Sudbury.

Classes include handsomest dog, prettiest bitch, golden oldie, child’s best friend, judge’s favourite, odd couple, best puppy under 12 months, best trick, scruffiest pooch and waggiest tail.

There will also be have-a-go scurry, water retrieving, and agility classes. Entry fee is £2 per class on the day. Burgers, tea, coffee and cakes will be on sale to sustain the owners.
