Going solo

SUDBURY Symphony Orchestra is staging a concert in St Peter’s next month featuring a solo performance by cellist Lucinda Skinner, who has performed all over the world and with the British Philharmonic Orchestra.

The concert takes place on Saturday, March 31, and features Saint Saens’ Cello Concerto No 1, Beethoven’s Fidelio Overture and Brahms’ 2nd Symphony.

Tickets, priced £10 with children £2, are available from Compact Music, North Street, Sudbury, or from the orchestra’s website at www.sudburysymphony
