Arthur goes in search of princess in panto
AM DRAM, THANK YOU MAM: Clare Amateur Dramatic society performers show off the costumes for their February panto, Knight Fever.
Medieval fever is set to grip Clare Town Hall next week.
Clare Amateur Dramatic Society is putting on its February pantomime, Knight Fever, which tells the story of how King Arthur and his knights rescue Princess Anna, who is kidnapped by the Black Knight when she visits the kingdom of Clare.
Kelly Cornwell, who is in charge of costumes for the performances, said: “There are loads of laughs and jokes in the show.
“It’s a musical family pantomime in which Arthur has to go on a quest to save the princess.”
The production features around 20 members of the society, which celebrated its 75th anniversary last year.
Performances take place from Thursday, February 2, to Saturday, Febraury 4, at 7.30pm, with a matinee show at 2.30pm on the Saturday.
Tickets are available from Hudgies Hardware in High Street, Clare, and cost £5 or £4 concessions.
