Hi to all Ipswich Town supporters. Let me take this opportunity to introduce ourselves.
We are ITISC and we were formed in 2006. We are going to be writing a column once a month and this month we want to tell you all about us and our forthcoming AGM to which everyone is invited.

Although the club is new we have some very big names associated with us. Kevin Beattie, who was voted best player ever to wear the shirt of Ipswich Town, is president and Sir Bobby Robson is an honorary member, along with other top names.

To have these guys on board is a coup and it shows what we are all about when guys like this are happy to be associated with us.

If you look at our website, www.itisc.org.uk, you will see what we do apart from go to games - already we have made a CD of a released version of the club's anthem, ran from Haverhill to Portman Road to raise monies for the MS Society and we have to date raised over £1k for them which is incredible.

The reason we chose the MS Society as our charity is that, sadly, Kevin's wife, Maggie, suffers from the illness and we said we would do all we could to help him say thank-you for all the help and support he gets from the society.

Saturday, May 17, 2008 was a special day in the history of ITISC. At the Radio Suffolk studio, there was a special presentation made to Kevin from ITISC on behalf of Sir Bobby Robson.

Kevin is the only player under his management to have received this tribute which made this even more special and it was a great honour for ITISC to be asked by Sir Bobby himself to present this on his behalf.

This season will see even more great events and competitions which we will explain in future editions.

The AGM is on Saturday, at 7.30pm at the Rose Tavern, Haverhill, (home of ITISC) and new members are very welcome. Come along and see for yourself what a great club we are. Membership is FREE and we ensure to keep it that way as we feel it costs a lot to follow ITFC as it is, without charging members.

So if you are a Town fan and want to join, please come along and see us at our AGM
