People can find out more about making wills when a hospice holds an information evening at its Sudbury charity shop.
The event, at the St Nicholas Hospice shop, Gainsborough Street, is on Tuesday.
A solicitor will answer questions and give advice.
Margaret Lee, of the hospice, said: "People underestimate the importance of making a will – if you die without one, your money and possessions may not be distributed in the way you would have wished. It will also take longer to process your affairs, causing more distress to your loved ones."
The session, between 5.30 and 6.30pm, is free and there is no obligation to make a will.
