BOGUS callers claiming to be from the water board can now be uncovered in a single phone call.
Anglian Water is urging people to use a dedicated phone number to check identities.

A spokesman from the company said anyone claiming to be from the water board should be kept outside while the homeowner called the number. Call free on 0800 145145.
