Councillors have delayed a decision on whether to allow a developer to knock down a house in Canhams Road, Great Cornard, and build seven homes in its place.
Members of Babergh District Council's development committee were due to make a decision on May 28 – but want more information on layout of the houses and access considerations.

Developers Waterford East Anglia LLP want to put five two-bedroom houses and two bungalows on the site of Upper Carsons in the village.

Great Cornard Parish Council has objected to the plans, citing concerns about the access into and out of the development, increased traffic levels, over-development of the site and concern about the loss of trees.
