With ponds overflowing and umbrellas at the ready, Long Melford threw open its garden gates to raise more then £500 for the Holy Trinity Church fund.
Organiser Melonie Clubb said: "The weather threw everything it could at us but it did not stop the gardeners or visitors who braved the elements. I can honestly say it was a great success.

"All the gardens looked spectacular and everyone should be very proud. We will be doing it again next year."
