Winning photograph for February 21

Hole-ier than thou... Colin Sycamore wins this week's £10 for these amazing shots of a green woodpecker attacking St Mary's Henny Church in Henny.

Previously lead thieves have been the only recent threat to St Mary's. Colin, who lives at the neighbouring Church Cottages, said: "At least the woodpeckers are doing the damage innocently.

"I often watch them looking for grubs under the cedar shingles but this one was only interested in making a nesting hole.

"I could see small pieces of wood falling away as it broke though and looked into the spire."

He wins 10, courtesy of Sudbury solicitors Bates, Wells & Braithwaite.
