Waste collections postponed

WASTE collections across Babergh and Mid Suffolk have been suspended today as a result of the severe weather.

Residents are being asked to leave their bins out and they will be collected as soon as possible, according to the district councils.

There will be no garden waste collections in either district this week. Instead the crews will be used to clear the missed Monday bins.

Residents expecting waste collections for the rest of the week are being requested to leave their bins out on the normal day.

For more information or to request extra garden waste collection bags call Babergh and Mid Suffolk’s Refuse Hotline on 0845 606 6045.
