Treasure talk in Sudbury

ONE of the most looted sites in Suffolk will be the topic of a talk in Sudbury.

Icklingham is infamous for the frequent raids carried out on its buried treasures, which date back to Roman times.

John Browning will give his talk Icklingham Treasure to members of the University of the Third Age – a learning and leisure group for the retired – on Wednesday, February 22.

The talk takes place at the Delphi Club, starting 10am.
