THE 12th Long Melford Street Fair will be held this weekend.

The annual event, which will see stalls lining the village’s Hall Street, will be opened by Sir Richard and Lady Hyde Parker of Melford Hall on Sunday.

Fun fare rides, a helter skelter and a circus workshop will all be taking place and Long Melford Fire Station will also be putting on a demonstration.

The fair will run from 3pm to 8pm, with Hall Street closed to traffic from midday till 10pm.
