Short story deadline nears

THE Friends of Sudbury Library are calling for more short story entries for a competition which closes next week.

Stories for the writing contest, which is made up of three categories – 11-years-old and under, 12 to 17 and adult – should not exceed 15,000 words and must be entered by Tuesday.

Entry forms costing £1 are available from Sudbury Library, with prizes of £25 and £10 in book tokens on offer.

All proceeds from the competition will go towards the Friends of Sudbury Library’s work to secure the library’s future in its existing building.
