New centre would be great addition
MAY I be permitted to clarify for your readers the article in last week’s Free Press headed Talks start over museum.
As you are probably aware, Sudbury already has a museum and heritage centre; what the town council was actually discussing was the possibility of setting up an archive centre.
This would complement the museum and bring together the many documents relating to Sudbury that are already held by the council and the museum trust and add to them those that are currently held in private hands.
