Disgust at cemetery theft

MY stepfather's funeral was on June 5 with interment at Sudbury cemetery.

The following day I went to view the flowers and was disturbed to find that one arrangement in particular had been interfered with.

This was a small heart-shaped arrangement consisting of red roses with a tartan ribbon tied to it, but now the ribbon was no longer in place.

This must have been deliberately untied and taken by someone with no conscience or morals.

The arrangement was placed there by my granddaughter, obviously my stepfather's great granddaughter, who is two years old. The ribbon was to commemorate his Scottish connection.

I find it difficult to believe that anyone is so in need that they have to resort to theft from a grave and just feel total disgust at this low deed.
