Choral treat
WHAT a wonderful evening's entertainment at St Peter's, Sudbury, on Saturday, April 25.
The pleasure given by Sudbury Choral Society accompanied by a full orchestra was absolutely superb.
This entertainment cost just 10. All work is voluntary. The costs of staging these concerts must be quite high. I have since found out that by becoming a Friend of the Society, all Friends are given, yes given, tickets to allow free admission to two concerts per year.
To become a friend costs just 15. I couldn’t believe it. What value for such a small sum of money.
The next concert, on June 14, is a joint concert with the choir from Clermont, France, Sudbury’s twin town.
