I ADMIRE Mr Michette for being outspoken (Firebrand councillor showed ‘no respect’, September 13) - he’s probably done more for Long Melford, in 30 years, than most of the others.

Issues must be discussed, sometimes vehemently.

How is it Richard Roper could criticise Mrs Michette, but Mr Michette wasn’t allowed to criticise the clerk, Mrs Goodban?

Has the committee considered Mr Michette might be right?

How ridiculous to call the police - wasting their time.
